Mangopay's regulated platform collects payments, secures transactions and holds funds, splits money between the various parties in the funds flow, and ultimately manages the payout to service providers, sellers, and consumers.
Platforms and fintechs using Mangopay regain control and transparency over multi-party payment flows, generate additional revenue, and improve operational efficiency. They can stay compliant while innovating and scaling.

About the RoleMangopay is entering a new phase of growth, and we are strengthening our financial strategy to support it. We're hiring a Director of Strategic Finance to take ownership of our payments economics and global financial performance.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you will bring structure to complex topics, guide senior leaders through critical decisions, and shape the financial narrative that drives how we grow.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Own the global payments P&L and steer overall financial performance.
- Build and refine unit economics models, and drive margin optimisation across routing, costs, and commercial levers.
- Evaluate new markets, product launches, and strategic opportunities with a clear financial and competitive lens.
- Partner closely with Product and Commercial teams to align financial priorities with roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
- Deliver compelling financial narratives and presentations to executives and external stakeholders.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing Strategic Finance team that supports a growing multi-market organisation.
- Strengthen financial governance, long-term planning, and cross-functional decision-making processes.
- Support M&A Due Diligence and activities
- 10+ years in Strategic Finance/FP&A, ideally within payments or fintech.
- Deep expertise in payment economics, including interchange and scheme fees.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and challenge C-level stakeholders.
- Lead margin optimization, influence key stakeholders with pricing framework and strengthen financial governance.
- Outstanding communication and storytelling ability, able to turn complexity into clarity.
- Track record of cross collaboration, driving alignment, and navigating fast-changing environments.
- English fluent is mandatory, other language would be an asset (french)
