Portfolio Progress Control Manager

Function:
Take ownership of the following activities for his/her own portfolio
Program control & performance progress view creating the right level of visibility on the program performance development
In charge of coordinating the program progress action plan within a matrixial organization of internal and external stakeholders, prepare monthly reporting progress plan to program management leadership.
Challenging fairly stakeholders on their own progress plan and report.
Support the program progress control lead on other ad’hoc task.
Main responsibilities:
Drive improvement plans on transversal activities across the different stakeholders of the program.
Drive and ensure coordination with all stakeholders [ clusters, EPCm, OEMs, PMC, Procurement, Engineering, schedule, other disciplines leads] to secure a proper alignment on progress performance view
In charge of challenging data sources and reports and bring clarity.
Responsible to monitor and control the program performance progress versus baseline, actuals and forecast on all key milestones & key metrics of safety, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, schedule, cost, risk.
Monitor and control the program critical path on all angles and provide clarity and options on the path forward.
Aggregate the reports of the different stakeholders in 1 unique program performance view as well as preparing the performance program progress reviews.
Responsible to issue the monthly program performance report and to manage the improvement plan accordingly in a complex matrix environment, issue the weekly-bi weekly flash report.
Responsible to resolve or escalate variances issues to right level of organization.
Geographical scope of mission:
The position is based in Luxembourg and reports to the Program progress control lead **.**
Weekly/biweekly travels at European level required to interact with portfolio key stakeholders.

**Profile**:
Education: Engineer master’s degree
Minimum professional experience of 5-10 years in large capital project control management preferably in steel industry, successful business control development experience, having worked closely with EPCs and/or EPCMs and/or PMCs and operations teams.
Software skills : Primavera P6, SAP, Microsoft project, Power BI, offices package [excel, Power point,..],
Good communication (discussion, presentation, meetings preparation)
Ability to navigate through a multi-cultural, international environment, developing solid relationships with different stakeholders
