**Reponsabilities**:
- Provide 1st line support for various technical issues, troubleshooting and resolving where possible.
- Skillfully screen, categorize, and prioritize support mailbox, ensuring proper dispatch and coordination with 2nd and 3rd level support teams within SLAs.
- Meticulously follow up and close out calls logged through the service management software, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Document incidents thoroughly for inclusion and updates within the internal knowledge base, fostering continuous improvement.
- Handle the installation and replacement of IT equipment for end-users, including computers, laptops, printers, telephones, scanners, and other related devices.
- Install and configure software on end-user machines, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Generate monthly reports as needed, reporting to the Service Desk team leader.
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers to report and escalate customer problems, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Actively participate in IT-related projects under the supervision of the manager or project manager, contributing valuable insights and expertise.
- Perform administrative tasks on the inventory tool, both on the client and server side, maintaining accurate records.
- Execute administrative tasks in Active Directory, ensuring user accounts and permissions are managed effectively.
- Adhere strictly to all ITSM and security policies, promoting a culture of compliance and best practices.
- Technical diploma in IT; a University degree in the IT field would be a plus
- Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in a support environment
- Proven track record of supporting system key users effectively
- Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with IT systems
- Basic understanding of networking principles
- Customer-centric mindset with a drive for delivering excellence
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, multicultural environment
- Eagerness to participate in regular training sessions and stay updated on emerging technologies
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to resolve problems efficiently and a willingness to explore innovative solutions
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential; additional language skills are a plus
