Do you want to create processes, operating models, and drive Amazon network Productivity Improvements? Do you have a strong passion for continuous improvement? EU Middle Miles Nodes Programs (MMNP) team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person as a Program Manager to drive productivity and cost-reduction programs across the network.
Key job responsibilities
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners - you influence the decisions. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect costs in their sites and create new mechanisms as they are needed
- Build strong partnership with senior leaders to monitor the progress of projects, improve milestones tracking and identify risks and support needed
- Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritise improvement programmes, seeing them through from start to finish
- Manage the organization's portfolio of projects, ensure alignment with strategic objectives and maintain centralized repository for future reference and analysis
- Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers.
- Work with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth of the business.
- Create benchmark standards and audit process in order to streamline project reporting.
- Analyse and solving barriers with a focus on understanding root causes, collaboration improvement among multiple stakeholders and effective information flow.

A day in the life
As a Program Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programmes. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks.
Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.
About the team
Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.
- Passion for continuous improvement and developing mechanisms to reduce defects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (including facilitating communication)
- Strong change management and implementation experience, including a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with high levels of management
