Order Management and Sales Assistance

As a Sales Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of business operations in compliance with ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products' compliance program. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Account Manager and maintaining strong customer relationships. Your duties will include offer management, contract and customer data management, pricing support, order follow-up, issue resolution, market information analysis, and promoting digitalization for order follow-up purposes.
**Responsibilities**:As a Sales Support Specialist at ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products, your main responsibilities will include:
**Compliance Management**:
Adhere to ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products' compliance program in all business activities.
**Offer Management (OT)**:
Collaborate with the Account Manager to prepare and finalize offers for customers.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of contract and customer data.
**Pricing Support**:
Assist the Account Manager in the pricing process by providing necessary information and instructions.
**Order Follow-up**:
Monitor the status of customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
Communicate with customers to confirm requested and confirmed delivery dates.
Address any issues that arise during the order fulfillment process, collaborating with mills and relevant stakeholders.
**Customer Relationship Management**:
Build strong connections with customers to optimize satisfaction and loyalty.
Support the Account Manager in customer visits and participate in certain circumstances.
**Market Intelligence**:
Capture and share market information and trends related to prices, products, imports, and competition.
Analyze market data to support strategic decision-making.
**Inventory and Payment Monitoring**:
Monitor stock levels and overdue orders, taking appropriate actions to resolve any issues.
Assist the Account Manager in monitoring overall payment situations, credit limits, and encashment issues.
**Digitalization**:
Support and promote the use of e-solutions for order follow-up purposes, enhancing efficiency and customer experience.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or a similar role.
Knowledge of compliance programs and regulations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of English, Italian is mandatory, German is desired.
Proficiency in using sales management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
