**Summary**:
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys multi-tasking, working within a dynamic environment, and who wants to pursue her/his career within the alternatives funds industry. Next step could be to become Assistant Manager (depending on your career expectations).
This is a new opening as the company is growing the Legal department. It will give you room to shape the role and to help build up the department.
It is a well-established company already, with around 200 people in Luxembourg.
We have 2 openings, on in Private Equity (where most of the cosec tasks are done in another country, you’re mostly reviewing it) and one in Hedge Funds where all the drafting is done in Luxembourg (hence more Legal focused).
**Your job**
In this role as a Senior Legal Officer you will be involved in all company secretarial and corporate and legal governance requirements at fund and possibly SPV level. You will be in charge of your own portfolio of funds/companies.
Some of the duties include:
- Coordinating and delivering day-to-day administration services (from incorporation to liquidation);
- Overseeing transactions;
- Identifying and anticipating possible problem areas, and offering suitable solutions;
- Organisation and preparation of director and shareholder meetings, taking minutes, preparation of board resolutions and shareholder resolutions;
- Work closely to other departments, coordinate with external counterparties;
- Liaise with Clients, internal teams, and relevant authorities.
**Key requirements**:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience (ideally from manco, or trust company);
- Fluent in English, French/German would be a plus;
- Experience working with Private Equity or Hedge Funds based in Luxembourg;
- Excellent communication skills; can work with people at all level;
- Take initiatives, possesses great organizational skills.
