**New Director role in Luxembourg.**

**THE ROLE**

The successful applicant will assume the role of Conducting Officer and Compliance Officer of the PSF. They will be responsible for working with management of the PSF to ensure an appropriate compliance framework is in place for the business. The individual will develop, lead, and promote the compliance strategy for the business. This shall include development and upkeep of Compliance policy, procedures, and monitoring programs.

The individual will be the main point of contact for all compliance matters in respect of the PSF with the CSSF. The individual will work in collaboration with the business to achieve effective Compliance risk management and ensure that the PSF operates within applicable laws and regulations in Luxembourg and in accordance with Waystone Group compliance programs.

**KEY RESULT AREAS**

The list of Key Result Areas is not exhaustive and may change from time to time:

- Take responsibility for development and execution of the Compliance Programme for the entity.
- To act as the Compliance Officer and Conducting Officer discharging those obligations to a high standard and consult with the relevant external parties as required.
- Lead, develop and implement a Compliance Management Framework and Compliance Strategy for Waystone Corporate Services. that is compliant with laws and regulations and considers the Group risk appetite and Group management framework.
- Review existing AML procedures and update as and when required; working to align standards to groupwide practices.
- Design and implement a robust AML operating model in support of the business and clients.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with all key stakeholders including regulators, authorities, colleagues, intermediaries, and clients (where appropriate)
- Function as RC for Waystone Corporate Services
- Provide the Board of directors with effective compliance reporting and participate in the relevant internal committees.
- Ensure and provide required AML training and awareness raising measures to the staff in line with group standards.
- Maintain an awareness of regulatory change across the jurisdictions that may impact the Group.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Suitable degree (preferred) | relevant compliance qualifications.
- 7+ years’ relevant finance industry experience, with a focus on experience in a Luxembourg PSF.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the AML rules and regulations
- Both operational and strategic business acumen.
- Ability to influence and advocate on behalf of the Compliance function.
- Already CSSF approved conducting officer for compliance **would be an asset.**:

- Good relationships with regulators and peers
- Ability to communicate and consult competently with a team and with other stakeholders.
- Ability to make pragmatic decisions whilst managing conflicting and demanding deadlines.
- Strong commitment to compliance service excellence.
