- Rachael Brooks- Recruiter Our client is a rapidly growing AIFM based in a central Luxembourg location. Due to continued company growth and success, they are now seeking a Chief Valuations Officer to join their thriving business.

The** Chief Valuations Officer** will take responsibility for the following duties:

- Developing the valuation function for the AIFM, primarily focusing on provision of third party AIFM services.
- Creating the valuation system including production of valuation procedures for the AIFM, including annual reviews of the valuation system.
- Leading the valuation committee.
- Valuation of sectors including real estate, venture capital and debt strategies.
- Perform regular reviews of the valuations of the assets of the AIFs and proposed by the valuation advisors, prepare valuation reports of the AIFs on regular basis, and present them to the Valuation Committee for approval
- Participate in NAV validations performed regularly by the AIFM

The** Chief Valuations Officer** will meet the following criteria:

- Holds a Bachelors degree in finance, economics, mathematics or equivalent.
- 7-10 years’ experience in valuations.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Proven understanding of valuation methodology of alternative investments in real estate, private equity and private debt.
- Good understanding of financial mathematics, statistics and modelling techniques.
- Analytical mind.
- Awareness of regulations, including AIFMD requirements within valuations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Valuations professional to take on a senior role at a leading alternative investment manager. **This role has a direct progression route to Conducting Officer for Valuations.**
