Our client is an AIFM, Investing in Private Equity.
We are currently looking for reinforce their team with the Conducting Officer in charge of Compliance.
Primary Functions a nd Essential Responsibilities
**Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
Assess the appropriateness of internal policies, procedures and guidelines, ensure a follow-up of any identified deficiencies, make recommendations for amendments, where necessary and supervise the implementation of corrective measures to mitigate the identified deficiencies, exploiting the advice of the current adviser
Regularly monitor compliance with the compliance policies, procedures and instructions by performing regular and comprehensive compliance risk assessments and testing and preparing reports for senior management
Serve as Money Laundering Reporting Officer and RC for the AIFM
Serve as the Complaints Handling Officer for the AIFM, a just formal role being the investor only institutional ones
Educate staff with respect to compliance matters
Prepare periodic reports and notification to regulatory authorities on compliance and AML-CTF
Ensure the regulatory framework of the AIFM in Luxembourg and within the Italian branch for the minor activities involved
Qualifications & Education
Bachelor’s Degree required
Formal training in compliance preferred
Membership in Luxembourg Association for Risk Management and/or Luxembourg Association for Compliance Officers a plus
Experience Required
8+ years of Finance industry experience in Compliance
5+ years of experience in roles with duties including risk management and compliance for AIFMs
A strong understanding of Luxembourg regulations applicable to AIFMs, including knowledge and experience with AML-CTF regulations
Regulatory experience with the CSSF

Expertise with regulatory review and CSSF interaction
