The **Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences** (FHSE) brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences. People from across 20 disciplines are working within the Faculty. Along with the **disciplinary** approach a very ambitious interdisciplinary research culture has been developed.

The faculty’s research and teaching focuses on **social, economic, political **and** educational** issues with the common goal of contributing to an inclusive, open and resourceful society. The FHSE offers six Bachelor and twenty Master degrees and a doctoral school providing students with the necessary knowledge and high-qualified skills to succeed in their future career.

**Your Role...**:
Draft, conceive, and execute communication activities for the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, targeting internal and external parties:

- Contributing to direction and oversight of the communication strategy of the Faculty in strong collaboration with the Management and the Central Communication Office.
- Updating Faculty pages on the Intranet.
- Support in writing and review of high-quality content for external and internal dissemination (Websites, news outlets, newsletters, brochures) and adapted to different target audiences on print and online channels.
- Design, maintain and update different webpages using content management systems, including Wordpress and Sharepoint.
- Manage and coordinate and/or lead events as well as other outreach activities (press conferences, award ceremonies, signature ceremonies, graduation): invitation, registration, catering, on-site support, post-event communication, presence at event and notetaking, social media coverage.
- Faculty-level contact for press (suggesting professors for interviews, informing professors of press requests), writing press releases in coordination with all parties, monitoring press coverage and sharing articles on social media.
- Faculty-level contact to coordinate and organize communication activities in collaboration with the Communication Department of the University of Luxembourg.

**What we expect from you**:

- University degree or equivalent professional qualification in communication/journalism and media.
- Several years of experience in a similar position.
- Proven ability to adapt to new situations, develop and implement creative solutions in a complex, multicultural and multi-stakeholder environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at several levels.
- Excellent administration and organizational skills, with an eye for details.
- Experience with Mailchimp or Sendinblue platforms is desired.
- Good knowledge of commonly used content management systems, particularly WordPress and Drupal.
- Design skills are a plus.
- Excellent command of English and French (written and spoken). German and Luxembourgish will be considered as an asset.
