The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for its **Group Corporate Services (GCS) - Corporate Protection Services Division (CPS) - HQ Security & Safety Unit (HQ), **at its headquarters in Luxembourg**:TRAINEE**
**_ Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1_**_st_**_ March 2025)_**
**_ (With possible extension up to 6 months if required by University)_**
**Objective of the traineeship**:
You will have an opportunity to work on a key initiative within Corporate Protection Services (CPS) supporting the development of frameworks, processes and tools for the recording, tracking and monitoring of costs related to Protection Services contracts.
Your tasks will be to support creating the documentation, user guides and training material necessary to successfully deploy the cost monitoring tool.
By engaging in this initiative, you will also support key business objectives related to innovation, digitalization, efficiency, saving, risks and controls.
**Responsibilities**:
Under the guidance of the other members in the team, you will:
- Analyse the existing processes and tools and identify areas for improvement
- Design and develop an Excel-based solution for recording, tracking, and monitoring costs
- Support Corporate Protection Services in defining KPIs to measure the success of the tool
- Support the drafting of the related guide and process
- Support the implementation of related data collection, preparation and analysis
- Collaborate internally and with other teams.
**Academic qualifications and professional skills**:
- Final year of studies or University degree in economics, finance, computer science or a business related field
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools (in particular: Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge and understanding of EIB's mission and activities would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and/or French. Knowledge of other EU language would be an advantage
