**Job Description**:
The Analyst will join the NAV Oversight Team within the Depositary bank.
She/he will mainly assist management in ensuring the execution of a comprehensive monitoring program of different depositary’s duties and conducting a wide range of administrative activities across both Custodians and Fund Managers (including their delegates).
Perform periodic controls related to depositary oversight duties related to NAV calculation and income distribution as well as monitoring capital stock process;
Monitor all exceptions that need to be escalated;
Ensure good understanding of the Clients and their specificities;
Assists in the preparation of reporting requirements for the Board of the Fund; and,
Execute/reviews administrative duties within the team.
Qualifications/Technical knowledge
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Minimum of 2 years of work experience, ideally in a depositary bank role or in a Fund accounting role
Basic knowledge of financial instruments and of AIFMD and UCITS V Regulations.
Basic knowledge of financial market and various parties in the market, i.e., Transfer Agent, Domiciliation Agent
Good knowledge of Luxembourg investment fund structure would be an asset
Experience of UCITS and Alterative Funds would be an asset
Fluent English skills (verbally and written)
Attention to detail and an inquisitive mind-set
Ability to plan effectively, with strong deadline orientation
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of MS Office VBA would be an asset
Process Improvement experiences/ LEAN skills e.g. to design/establish new detailed processes, documentation skills, e.g. procedures/manual
Ability to analyse data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis;
Proven analytical and problem solving skills;
Ability to identify logical and innovative solutions to complex problems;
Self-motivated, innovative and analytical;
Possess good understanding of data migration, testing and reconciliations.
