**Job Description**:
We have a superb opportunity for a lawyer with around 3-6 years’ experience in the corporate / M&A field, gained in either the corporate practice of a law firm or in-house for an asset manager/ investment company in Luxembourg. It's a one year fixed term employment with the client (a CDD). Excellent English language skills are a must.

Our client offers you the chance to work on a range of private equity, real estate and infrastructure transactions. This is a true advisory role, in which you support the Head of Legal. The company offer you a dynamic and supportive environment, with the option to work a day a week from home. You will be a great team player, and work with integrity, efficiency and accuracy.

You will:

- Provide legal advice on a range of investment transactions in PE, RE and Infra, and on other legal issues affecting the group as a member of the inhouse counsel team
- Provide advice on compliance with local and international regulations and laws
- Review and negotiate contracts
- Ensure that the company template documents are appropriate and regularly reviewed to ensure excellence
- Work to minimize legal risk to the company and its group entities
- Manage transaction closings
- Work on ad hoc advice and legal projects as and when they arise, providing advice memo’s or in person.

To be considered for this role you will:

- Possess excellent English language skills
- Have at least 3 - 6 years of experience gained post qualification / education in a similar field (M&A, finance, commercial), such as in a law firm, investment firm, or a Big-4 company
- You’ll have a minimum Masters in Law. (Ideally, you may also have passed the CCDL, or possibly have held an EU legal qualification).
- You will be a great team player, and work with integrity, efficiency and accuracy.
- Have at least 1 year of prior Luxembourg based experience in addition to other legal experience.
