**Your Role...**:
Under the responsibility of the Team Leader Internal Communications, the internal communications officer will plan, implement and monitor internal communications activities at the University. These are embedded in the overall communication strategy of the University and aim to facilitate the information exchange within the organization.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Draft, conceive, and execute communication activities for the University to support the strategic goals of the institution, using all communication channels
- Support various administrative functions of the University in their communication activities
- Organize internal communication events such as UniTalks, lunch events etc.
- Edit, update, and further develop the SharePoint intranet of the University
**What we expect from you**:
- A university degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing or related field
- 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Ability to write articles on complex topics, copy editing, and proof-reading experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator and SharePoint
- Knowledge of video and audio production for web and social media
- Creativity and the ability to develop and implement your own project ideas
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and stress resistance
- Be an outgoing, highly self-directed personality with the ability to work in a team or autonomously, as required
- Writing, copy editing, and proof-reading experience in English
- Native speaker level in English. Skills in French and German are considered as an asset
