Applied Researcher: Subjective Well-being

STATEC Research contributes research to the national policy debate and international scientific community. The team aims to understand Luxembourg's social and economic development in a comparative perspective, focusing primarily on applied research in the fields of entrepreneurship, productivity, and well-being.
Main tasks/responsibilities are to:
- Contribute to reports, executive summaries and short articles on well-being in Luxembourg, alone and in comparative perspective, over time and across countries;
- Disseminate research findings to the scientific community and wider audiences, including public officials and policy makers;
- Participate in a collaborative research environment, such as joint research projects, outreach activities, seminars, and grant proposals;
- Contribute to the development of the Division’s well-being research agenda.
We seek someone with the following traits:
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, especially in the analysis of survey data;
- Good organisational skills, intrinsically motivated and able to meet deadlines;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently;
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English - the working language of the Division; French and/or German is an advantage.
