The subcategory Industrial Services Water and Waste (Environmental services) oversees purchasing in project mode long term contract for Water Cooling Circuits of production tools, Industrial water production, Waste water management, Sludge handling. As well as Real Estate services such as Diagnostic, Demolition, Deconstruction (Dismantling), Depollution of nonoperational real estate assets.

ArcelorMittal Real Estate function is responsible for non-operational real estate strategy, planning & control and of several geographical entities responsible for execution, implementation and project management. It manages, stabilizes, valorizes and sells the surplus non-operational real estate assets.

Real estate activities go beyond the traditional transactions (sales, leases, licensing) and portfolio management to include non-traditional revenue enhancement activities such as site remediation and development of renewable energies.

**About the role**
- Actively participate in the strategic procurement activities for the scope of Real Estate: (Demolition/Deconstruction/Dismantling/Depollution)
- Work closely with internal customers Real Estate users to ensure effective strategic procurement and business continuity.
- Achieve effective procurement and business continuity by cooperation with internal Real Estate across AM FCE/LCE sites
- Work closely with Lead Buyer in conducting research on supply markets, price benchmarks, and supplier profiles Key Responsibilities; Supplier profile Maintenance; Development of new suppliers
- Develop and maintain supplier profiles: Manage Supplier relationship and monitor contract compliance.
- Execute supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting for the Real estate projects.
- Deliver savings and subcategory KPI targets and assist Lead Buyer with necessary analyses:

- Spend data analysis and basic financial analyses;
- Performance reporting;
- Participate in transversal working groups and projects.

**Typical work activities include**:

- Liaising closely with the Project’s manager at the tendering stage to ensure that an
accurate project cost is provided in answer to the technical specification.
- Providing prices for all materials and services included in project plans and drawings;
- Identifying potential suppliers and new solutions, equipment, materials;
- Providing advice to the project manager on the predicted cost of individual
items;
- Contacting a range of suppliers and sub ‐ contractors to obtain quotations and
agree on delivery times and/or service performance;
- After technical alignment, negotiate the most favorable terms possible with suppliers
draft the contract once all ad hoc validation has been secured.
- Keeping detailed records and maintaining a well ‐ organized work schedule;
- Dealing effectively with challenges from suppliers and the performance of services required by Real Estate Project’s manager;
- Ensuring compliance with the safety, health and environment requirements
of materials, equipment, and services;
- Preparing and maintaining cost reports from start to conclusion of the project to maximize efficiency within the business;

- with an engineering degree (civil or mechanical) or scientific education level (min bac+5 years)

- with a commercial experience and/or willing to train to acquire the necessary know how in procurement.
