**Your team**:
The **Pictet Group** is one of the world’s leading independent wealth and asset managers. Pictet has been present since 1989 in Luxembourg, where it employs over 700 people.
**Corporate Functions** includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organisation & Digital, Risk and Tax departments.
**Your role**:
- Assist the Legal Team to provide legal support for the Bank's different business lines and departments in Luxembourg and in Europe
- Ensure the analysis, legal research, and writing work of the Legal Team, in terms of compliance with the Bank's standards and security, while developing a practical and solution-oriented approach
- Be involved in negotiating and drawing up contracts as well as other documents of a legal nature
- Assist the Legal Team to advise the different business lines in monitoring and following up on legal and regulatory developments in their field of business
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments in Luxembourg, at European and international level that are likely to affect the financial sector
**Your profile**:
In addition to a university degree in law (four to five years' higher education), you will have at least one to two years' experience as a legal expert with a financial institution in Luxembourg or abroad.
You will have excellent command of English and French, and a good level of proficiency in another European language would be a definite asset.
As the successful applicant, your methodical approach to your work and attention to detail will ensure you make best use of your outstanding analytical skills and ability to process information. Furthermore, your trustworthiness and keen sense of discretion will help you to fit in easily with a dynamic, multicultural team. Added to this, your determination, commitment and flair for communication will ensure that you become a much appreciated and valued interlocutor.
