Business Analyst

**The Business analyst will have the following responsibilities**:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand the existing accounting processes and gather requirements for ERP implementation.
- Analyzing the As-Is accounting processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing process improvements for enhanced productivity and accuracy.
- Documenting detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows for the ERP implementation.
- Designing the To-Be accounting processes, considering industry best practices and aligning them with the selected ERP software functionalities.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and ERP consultants, to ensure smooth integration and successful implementation of the ERP solution.
- Conducting testing and validation of the ERP system to ensure that it meets accounting and reporting needs accurately.
- Assisting in training and supporting end-users during and after the ERP implementation process.
**Requirements**:
**To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills**:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on accounting processes and ERP implementations.
- Solid understanding accounting processes, financial reporting, and general accounting principles.
- Proven experience in documenting As-Is and To-Be processes for ERP implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP, Workday, or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform data manipulation and analysis effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory; additional language proficiency is considered an advantage.
