**THE LUXEMBOURG BUSINESS**
Gen II Luxembourg Services offers Private Equity and Real Estate administration services, providing Gen II US clients, and new US and European sponsors with the capability to have a Luxembourg base of operations and trusted partner in Europe.
The business offers a fully customizable service plan for sponsors seeking to establish a Luxembourg-based structure.

- Domiciliation, governance, and secretarial support

- Comprehensive financial, regulatory and investor reporting
- Regulatory/compliance support: AML/KYC, CRS, FATCA and AIFMD reporting

**THE ROLE**
The role sits within the Client Services Fund Accounting department, reporting to the Business Unit Director. In this role you will serve as a primary contact for clients and internal operational teams.
**Primary Responsibilities Will Include**:
- Overseeing the day-to-day accounting and fund administration for multiple investment sponsors
- Extensive hands-on involvement in preparing and reviewing work papers, investments, accruals, financial statements with footnotes and investor allocations.
- Frequent communication with clients at executive level
- Developing close working relationships with all client contacts, auditors, lawyers, and banking personnel.
- Ensure exceptional levels of client service are met.
- Oversee and provide guidance on the initial set up of the clients’ funds deliverables (capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRRs)
- Improve and/or implement new processes where necessary.
- Improve and implement dashboard tools to monitor department level activities.
- Effectively manage communication with all internal Gen II teams, owning any internal requests with timely and appropriate responses.
- Actively lead or support internal projects.
- Lead, direct, and coach a team of Fund Accountants (Junior and Senior levels).
- Manage team dynamics & morale.
- Seek to develop and retain top talent including identifying training needs for your team.
- Evaluate talent by providing constructive, actionable feedback and performance reviews.
**Job Requirements, Skills, Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience.
- Fluent in English, any other language is considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of private equity fund structures.
- Strong Knowledge of Luxembourg alternative investment fund laws and regulations including regulatory reporting requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting for Investment Funds / Companies in US GAAP & LUX GAAP.
- Very comfortable in understanding and navigating through partnership agreements, legal documents, and Investment agreements.
- Advanced experience in preparing capital calls and distributions including complicated waterfall models.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes and procedures in a rapidly changing environment.
- Superior problem solving, judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, taking full ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to think independently, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
