We play an instrumental role in Europe by fueling innovation through research partnerships with industry, boosting R&D investments leading to economic growth, and attracting highly qualified talent. We look for researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to contribute to our projects in areas such as: Network Security, Information Assurance, Model-driven Security, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Satellite Systems, Vehicular Networks, and ICT Services & Applications.
**Your role**:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in AI, NLP, and document analysis
- Design, develop and implement algorithms for processing and analyzing natural language documents using ML and explainable AI techniques
- Contribute to national and international research collaborations in NLP, Fintech, and related fields
- Prepare project deliverables and disseminate results through high-quality scientific publications
- Present findings at renowned international conferences and workshops
- Guide and mentor PhD, MSc, and BSc students working on related topics
- Support the organization of demonstrations and workshops relevant to NLP/Fintech
- Assist in drafting research proposals to secure funding
**Your profile**:
We seek a motivated, independent researcher with strong skills in NLP and a passion for interdisciplinary work.
- Expertise in machine learning, explainable AI, and advanced natural language processing techniques.
- Knowledge of text processing, document analysis, and model interpretability is a plus
- Proficiency in a major programming language (Python, Java or R is a plus)
- Experience in research supervision
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
- A proven publication record in relevant international conferences and journals
- Teamworking skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary research environment
