The Amazon Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team is seeking a Leader of Business Developers in the EU who are responsible for vendor adoption of Amazon’s Ship in Own Container (SIOC) program.

The Ship in Own Container (SIOC) program reduces packaging waste, contributes to Amazon’s Climate Pledge commitments, and provides a better customer unboxing experience. It also reduces fulfillment costs including packaging materials, outbound labor, and transportation as a result of package cube reduction, supporting improvements in Cost to Serve. MSP sets the global, multi-year strategic packaging vision to drive waste and cost reduction and contribute directly to Amazon’s Climate Pledge goals. Our products are public facing and provide a unique opportunity to interact with end customers on every order.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for both direct ownership of our most strategic Tier 1 vendors and their journey to adopting SIOC, as well as managing a team of individual contributors. You’ll own the creation and execution of strategies to achieve business goals, collaborate across stakeholder teams to unlock strategic vendors/sellers, create tracking mechanisms and KPIs to evaluate the success and health of your business, and mentor and coach your team to support individual growth and unlock superpowers.

- Own outreach and engagement to Selling Partners according to aligned OP plans to enable SIOC adoption.
- Contribute to the multi-year vision and roadmap for BD expansion in EU and abroad
- Be the primary contact between MSP and Selling Partner organizations in the EU, including FBA and Retail
- Partner with external teams including Amazon Retail, Amazon Business, AWS, and others to unlock strategic vendors, and align programs and initiatives to drive growth.
- Develop MSP communication and reporting mechanisms on program status, and own content input for partner team mechanisms (exp. retail FCF QBRs).
- Develop and monitor inputs KPIs that indicate expected Selling Partner SIOC adoption
- Own and refine playbooks for internal and partner team roles in SIOC adoption, including Vendor pitch decks, identifying savings opportunity (exp. at a Selling Partner and ASIN level), and enrollment processes trainings.
- Responsible for the professional development of mid-senior level team members.
