Are you interested in driving significant packaging waste and carbon footprint reduction programs for Amazon Europe and make a difference in the Sustainability world? We're looking for an experienced, driven, analytical, and creative Program Manager to join the European Sustainable Packaging Team.

Packaging is the first tangible aspect customers experience when they receive their order from Amazon, and customers are highly influenced by what they can see and touch. The European Sustainable Packaging Team
designs and deploys packaging solutions that delight our customers, reduces packaging waste to the minimum required to protect the products, while enhancing operational performance, optimizing cost, and as part of The Climate Pledge, reducing our carbon footprint.

You should not only be passionate about delivering extensible, on-time solutions, but should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, continuous process improvement, and mentorship.

They are highly customer-focused, exceling at influencing and engaging others, and can swiftly navigate diverse technical and business challenges. Your leadership style thrives on collaboration, involving teams across product, program, design, science, and engineering spheres. You possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, simplifying complex concepts and guiding decisive actions. You anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs when necessary. Keys to success include strong motivation to dive deep into the data to uncover root causes and solving problems independently.

Key job responsibilities
- Technical Documentation Management
- Artwork Management
- Work closely with Material Characterization and Packaging Performance Laboratories to ensure comprehensive performance testing of packaging material
- Work closely with Procurement and Packaging Suppliers as Technical Owner in Tender Processes
- Conduct gap analysis in the performance of existing packaging, implementing targeted improvements to enhance efficiency, sustainability and overall effectiveness
- Material optimization for reducing overall packaging waste and carbon footprint
- Participate on developing innovative pack designs and materials
- Compile requirements documents, and own business metrics and KPIs for your processes and services
- Demonstrate strong product management, organizational, and leadership skills

Luxembourg, LUX
- Experience leading process improvements
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of SQL.
