**Missions in a few lines**:

- Ensure the physical integrity and work safety of own, colleagues and contractor employees through the implementation of Golden rules of safety & occupational health ;
- Early involvement in the project from conceptual stage and assist in preparation the budget, IAC file, as required ;
- Manages the deployment of purchasing strategies on Mining Green & Brownfield projects.

**Main accountabilities**:

- Selects appropriate global and local vendors for the tendering process ;
- Develop frame agreements related to materials, equipment and/or services following standardization strategy ;
- Performs the Risk Analysis for the project, as well as the implementation of mitigation actions ;
- Handles the tendering process in order to ensure the short listing of the best offers in terms of equipment quality, availability and TCO ;
- Performs cost analysis and benchmarks ;
- Deploys purchasing productivity tools (e-RFQ, e-sourcing) ;
- Ensures the respect of procurement process timeline ;
- Designs the contract aligned with General Conditions for Capital Purchases ;
- Obtains approval of the negotiation results as per ArcelorMittal governance ;
- Reports in Capex Tool on projects under his/her responsibility ;
- Assess and manage claims (including insurance), resolve disagreements & issue change order under the program governance along with Program Procurement lead ;
- Manage post-award administration ;
- Lead the final negotiations for optimized contract which maximized purchasing performance ;
- Applies AM Quality Management Policy and objectives in his/her area of responsibility ;
- Checks synergies, and bundles project negotiations with other Buyers & Managers when possible ;
- Provides his inputs on the Project with review of strategy, business case, cost benchmarking and optimised solutions to IAC (Investment Allocation Committee) ;
- Shares his knowledge / lessons learned from previous experiences with the team ;
- Ensure a favourable organizational climate, through the adoption of motivational practices, communication and integration processes, fair treatment and good interpersonal relations, according to Speak up Survey management action plans.

**What profile are we looking for ?**
- Engineering or Technical field as Mechanics, Electricity or Civil works or business administration ;
- Fluent in English & French ;
- Extensive industrial or/and procurement experience required (10 years) ;
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills ;
- Keen commercial sense ;
- Strategic thinker and team worker ;
- Excellent communication skills ;
- Willingness to travel frequently.
