**The challenge**

Our clients need to share data, seamlessly, within, across and between organisations. To achieve this, a common understanding of what data is and how it is used across its entire lifespan must be established. Processes must be mapped and a solution that makes data available across the entire value chain and in the formats and frequencies needed, delivered.

We need people who can challenge established thinking, who can interpret business requirements, who can communicate the value of data and who have the high-level vision to map data flows and business processes.

In this context, we are looking for three Junior Business Analysts.

Our business analysts are integral to our product development teams, supporting our purpose to streamline, simplify and accelerate data flows for our clients in the asset management world so that they can trust and use their data. As a Junior Business Analyst, you will take day-to-day responsibility for one of our key technologies, contributing to the product development process, growing both our business and the scope of our technology. You will ensure that our solution meets the requirements of clients and the regulators.

Your role and responsibilities
- You will collect requirements from clients in the context of the regulatory framework to determine solution requirements. To achieve this, you will carry out detailed analyses on two levels:
1. Analyse and document business processes (Who does what? When do they do it? What triggers the process?), sharing them with internal and external stakeholders and taking an active role in delivering future state business processes as agreed by all stakeholders.

2. Document data requirements (What data is needed for which action? Where is the data coming from?), sharing them with internal and external stakeholders and taking an active role in delivering data requirements as agreed by all stakeholders.
- You will interact with clients and internal stakeholders, across various functions and at all levels, to perform your analyses.
- You will document user guides and share them, taking an active role in delivering training.
- You take pride in the quality of your work and produce professional deliverables.
- You are a team player, offering help and advice as well as receiving it when needed.

**Location and travel**

There are open roles in both our London and Luxembourg operations, and you should be willing to travel within Europe on ad hoc basis.

**Your qualifications**
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a numerate and logical discipline e.g. engineering, mathematics, business administration, science.
- You have an analytical mind, the ability to focus and you can interpret and distill information from long texts in order to document data requirements.
- You have a sense of responsibility, take ownership of your work and can work autonomously. You have a hands-on approach to problem solving.
- You are adaptable and keen to learn new complex topics.
- You are a technophile with a strong interest in data.
- You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in spoken and written English (other languages such as French or German would be an asset).
- You are a proficient user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint).
- Knowledge of the investment fund industry would be an advantage.
