Technology Service Specialist

CTO Branch Technology in Luxembourg is seeking for an Infrastructure Technology Service Specialist.

Overall Responsibility

BT is looking for a Technology Services Specialist, who will be working as a member of the IT department (Branch Technology) and will cover related infrastructure support roles, that is composed of three main areas: IT Outsourcing Governance, Continuous Service Improvement, and IT related Communication.

Reporting to the local IT management, the Technology Services Specialist will interface and interact with the key stakeholders in both the IT Operations unit as well as our IT Production Control team to ensure a seamless interaction and harmonisation of the aforementioned topics.

Detailed Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the departments outsourcing portfolio and support the Local Outsourcing Representative and/or assume the role directly.
- In this regard, review and support the IT related outsourcing engagements, with a focus on inter-company outsourcing (i.e., Luxembourg participating in / adapting Group Service offerings) and advise global project managers on related regulatory/mandated governance steps
- Support Continuous Service Improvement (CSI), in both regular and ad hoc review initiatives. Run and structure related meetings, according to the defined and agreed priorities and guide the related stakeholders, delegating and communicating responsibilities, and oversee other related processes.
- Ensure proper Management Reporting and cross-divisional Communication (e.g., triggered by Incidents, important Changes or Projects) is done in time and adequate quality, with wording adjusted to the corresponding target audience
- Regular reporting to the local IT Management (CIO and CTO), including the creation of related management reports and presentations

Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent Diploma) preferred and/or 3+ years in advisory service, management consultancy or IT project experience within the Luxembourg finance industry, including regulatory expertise. The following educational achievements will be looked upon favourably: Certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), at least foundation level.
- Fluent in English and German (both written/verbal)
- Flexibility regarding problem solving, open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members.
