SEI provides technology and operational platforms that allow clients to focus their energy on creating investment products, creating alpha in those investment products, raising capital and distribution.
**Position Description**:
**What you will do**:
As the Fund Accounting Manager, you will be required to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that SEI and its clients are in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- You will lead and develop your team of Private Equity and Hedge Fund Accountants and Analysts
- Ensure deliverables and deadlines are met
- Participate in new fund launches
- Participate in annual due diligence oversight program of delegates and AIFM
- Participate in internal audit reviews
- Ad-hoc tasks / projects as required Assist with training and development of analysts within the team
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within our Group
- Liaise with the global sub-custodians, administrator and prime brokers, as required
- Review and update policies and procedures
- Monitor delegates and ensure KPIs are addressed
**What we need from you**:
- At least 5 years' experience in a Fund Administration role, ideally to include at least 3 of those working on Private Equity Funds.
- Experience in working on Private Equity and Hedge accounting systems.
- At least 2 years people management and leadership experience.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines to meet strict deadlines, prioritizing work and maximizing efficiencies to manage time
- Have a strong knowledge of Fund structures, various Fund domiciles regulatory requirements.
- Have experience in reviewing Fund documents.
- Business Fluency in English
**What we would like from you**:
- Third level qualification, preferably in Finance or related field
- Proven Oversight skills, including experience overseeing and monitoring delegates.
- Project management experience, including strong organizational and administrative skills
- Knowledge and expertise of the FIS Investran and/or Advent Geneva systems
- Initiative and ownership of assigned deliverables and responsibilities
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Keen critical thinking, analysis and problem solving skills
- Fluency in foreign language (both written and verbal) an advantage
- ACCA qualified preferable but not essential.
