**What you’ll do**:
As a Global Category Manager, you will take charge of one or more categories within the Enterprise (Vodafone Business) portfolio. You will lead sourcing and negotiation efforts (commercial and contracts) with suppliers to support our strategy and meet the needs of key stakeholders, including Vodafone Business, Technology, Compliance, and local Supply Chain.
Your mission is to deliver the optimal contract on time to maximize B2B contract value and margin, create savings, and centrally manage spend targets while ensuring project delivery aligns with our global strategy and standards (including our Code of Ethical Purchasing Policy and Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policy). You will innovate commercial models, contribute to the category supplier or B2B partner/alliance roadmap, and make long-term sourcing decisions during category development. Additionally, you will enthusiastically support global contract management, compliance, and governance structures.

**Who you are**:

- ** Communication Skills**:Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate and influence diverse teams.
- ** Analytical Skills**:Proven expertise in data research, creating trends, and identifying anomalies in data sets, showcasing your analytical prowess.
- ** International Collaboration**: Ability to work across different cultures. Experience in an international, functional matrix environment.
- ** Task Management**:Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Flexible and adaptable to cope with the variety of projects and tasks and the ambiguity inherent to large matrix organization.
- ** Language**: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- ** Product Knowledge**: Knowledge in the following market/products/technologies (and associated vendor ecosystem) considered a plus: Digital Apps resell (such as Microsoft Modern Workplace, Google Workspace) and eCommerce Selling Platforms (such as AppDirect).
- ** Business Acumen**: Business acumen beyond procurement activities as you need to strive for being also an advisor to your stakeholders about your supplier markets.
- ** Education OR Experience**: A higher degree in Engineering or IT is preferred, demonstrating your technical expertise and commitment to continuous learning, or equivalent experience in a related field (minimum of 3 years' in procurement).
