**What you'll do**:
As a **Category Manage**r in Vodafone's centralized Global Supply Chain Management Function, you will be responsible to manage one or several categories supporting our growing and leading Enterprise Business.
In particular, thanks to your procurement activities and stakeholder management skills, you will get the opportunity to **contribute to the success and growth of key Vodafone Business product portfolios** such as Unified Communications & Connectivity (UCC), Digital App & Cybersecurity.

You will run sourcing activities ( RFQ / RFP, eAuction, direct negotiations) leveraging our world-class SCM tools & processes, and teams. Your ability to **understand and qualify the needs of your internal stakeholders** (i.e. Product Managers, Solution Architect, Bid & Sales Managers) as well as your understanding of the supplier, and the market will be key to the success of your category strategy and/or negotiation with suppliers.
As an** Agile professional and individual **you are keen to engage in a variety of projects such as the launch of a new product, large Customer bids, and optimization/transformation of existing operating and commercial models. Through those, you will deliver the optimal cost of ownership, create savings, and centrally managed spending targets whilst securing the delivery of projects in accordance with global strategy and stakeholder objectives.

**Who you are**:

- Solid procurement experience in IT/Telco business.
- Great procurement experience with key skills linked to commercial & contractual negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills.
- Focus on business acumen to act as an advisor to your stakeholders about your supplier markets.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to conceptualize.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills (another language is a plus with a preference for German, Italian, and Spanish).
