The Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) organization owns the software and infrastructure that powers Amazon’s world-class fulfillment centers. We build software which interfaces with the robots, machines and human associates at the warehouse and facilitate various processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers moving millions of units of inventory and ensuring customers get what they want, when promised. These systems underlie everything we do - tens of millions of items in the catalog, hundreds of millions of units of inventory, and billions of transactions each year
So, your work will directly influence Amazon business and customer promise. As a member of this team, you will get the opportunity to work on highly visible, innovative projects that directly affect the customer experience. You will be involved in all the aspects of the software development cycle including scoping, design, implementation, testing, delivery, and support of your product. The position has great opportunity for growth.

Key job responsibilities
Develop product vision and strategy by working backwards from the customer and define/drive overall product strategies and roadmaps.
Develop product requirements and partner with operations and engineering to deliver them.
Define the success metrics for features or services and track performance. Utilize metrics to deep-dive issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns.
Define and execute project plans, assembling resources and developing processes associated with product rollout and ongoing support.
Manage products through initial launch and follow-on releases, identifying dependencies and clearing blockers.
Report on our progress in weekly and monthly business reviews.
Master's degree in Business, Computer Science or other quantitative field.
Demonstrated success managing multiple projects with autonomy.
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, design, product, and project management counterparts to deliver products/services.
Passion for generating big, creative ideas.
Analytical skills and the ability to create sound business arguments backed up by data.
Willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities; must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people.
Demonstrated ability for being detail-oriented, self-motivated and driving follow-through.
Able to handle competing priorities.
Able to establish and manage projects and initiatives against a set of key metrics and goals.
Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
