**WHAT TO EXPECT**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Organization design & development**:

- To support business growth, including Shared Service Center organizational development.
- ** Serve as key strategic advisor/trusted confidante** to the EMEA President in providing timely and effective counsel on all HR related matters.
- ** Culture development**:

- Strengthen company identity based on strong business results, integration, respect for employees at all levels, support of DEI initiatives, pay for performance, shared success, accountability, employee recognition and employer branding.
- ** Design and deploy enterprise initiatives**:

- As part of the global HR leadership team, participate in the design of strategic enterprise initiatives and lead the deployment of those initiatives throughout scope of responsibility.
- ** Acquisitions/Integration Support**:

- Contribute to due diligence; accelerate integration and create synergy and efficiency of HR strategy, policies, plans, practices.
- ** Workforce Optimization**:

- Support footprint rationalization, restructuring initiatives as required; leverage experience to facilitate change transformation in support of growth initiatives and business enablement.
- ** Communications**:

- Drive all the above with clear communication and transparency.
- ** HR Process Improvement**:

- Devise or improve efficient HR practices, and bring financial discipline to the procurement and utilization of resources.
- ** Talent/Workforce management**:

- Extend performance/talent management into middle management levels in support of employee development and organizational design.
- ** Talent Acquisition**:

- Support strategic talent acquisition throughout the the region and globally as part of support for Corporate functions.
- ** Compensation**:

- Reinforce practices that are rational, related to the business goals, and well communicated.
- ** External Relationships**:

- Oversee negotiation and administration of vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements.

**Key Relationships**:

- Direct report to the President of the EMEA region and peer to functional colleagues over Operations, Finance, Commercial and Customer Experience
- Global Human Resources Leadership team.

**ABOUT YOU**
- At least 15-20 years' experience in a global manufacturing (industrial/automotive preferred) HR environment, with proven experience developing and executing "best-in-class" practices, processes, standards. English fluency required, 2nd language proficiency desirable.
- A proven track record in organizational and talent development, including building/optimizing SSC capability.
- A proven track record as a business partner, with demonstrated influencing skills and ability to build relationships across the organization.
- Strong background in operations/manufacturing, with an understanding of manufacturing plants and DC operations.
- A strong decision maker with good knowledge of European employment law, including negotiations with Unions/Works Councils.
- Strong data-based decision making orientation; comfortable with analytics, reporting.
- Ability to set clear goals with timescales.
- Experience translating business initiatives into clear, consistent HR strategies to support them.
- Must have a "nose for talent" and an ability to recognize the potential of individuals, including development opportunities.
- Pervious M&A due diligence and integration experience is desired.
- Experience in promoting DE&I initiatives.
- Experience working abroad, managing teams remotely in an international environment strongly desired.
