We have an excellent, permanent opportunity for an Assistant Company Secretary to join a small team which provides company secretariat services to the UCITS and AIF products for which it is the Management Company. If workload permits, this role will also to provide support Secretariat support to abrdn Investment Luxembourg S.A.

The Department

Working with a small professional friendly team in Luxembourg. This is a varied role and would be suited to a Junior wishing to make a step up and take on their own responsibilities whilst being supported by qualified and knowledgeable team.

The Role
- Assist with the management of the company secretarial and domiciliary responsibilities of regulated and unregulated Private Market and Real Estate Alternative Investment Lux Funds and HoldCos.
- Assist with Secretariat support to abrdn Investment Luxembourg S.A.
- Assist with drafting notices, agendas, collating board packs, drafting minutes, drafting circular resolutions and following up all action points.
- Assist with the set-up and co-ordination of board/committee meetings and liaise with participants in board/committee meetings to ensure they run smoothly.
- Attend from time to time board meetings, shareholders meetings and other committee meetings.
- Maintain governance documentation and filings as requested by senior members of the team.
- Carry out corporate filings for various legal entity types as requested by senior members of the team.
- Attending to requests for notarisation of documents and certified copies of Board resolutions and responding to due diligence queries and information requests from internal teams, with support from the Domiciliary agents/team.
- Other domiciliary or management company administrative assistance as required from time to time.
- Interacting with key stakeholders across the group and providing support on company secretarial and governance matters.
- Other duties as required.

Experience and Qualification:

- Individuals with prior company secretarial and domiciliary/corporate services experience would be preferred.
- Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing (English)
- Knowledge of German and/or French would be useful
- Flexibility
- Excellent teammate
- Ability to work within a dynamic and busy team environment
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Highly organised and high attention to detail
- Relationship building: building rapport and maintaining relationships with board/committee members and key stakeholders at all levels across the business
