Vos missions au quotidien
**Mission**: The Fund Accountant makes sure that all NAV and Reporting are delivered to the client in good quality and in the agreed timeframe.
**Tasks and responsibilities**:
**Record keeping**
- Is responsible for the recording of all operations in the accounting system, including the number of shares in issue after receiving operations from the Transfer Agent and any related equalization; the portfolio by integrating sell and purchase orders; the accruals in relation to income and expenses; the Cash accounts by integrating operations received from the counterparties
**Net Asset Value production and control**
- Initiates the process of accounting and NAV calculation
- Ensures the reconciliation is made between Asset Management and Accounting counterparts
- Proceeds to calculate the NAV following all relevant procedures and checklists
**Reporting and periodic duties**
- Initiates the periodic valuations process and generates the reporting, both regulatory and client specific
- Initiate the process of accounting and NAV calculation (LuxGAAP)
- Recording all operations in the accounting system (GP3/ PERES and ALFAS)
- Performing the reconciliation with the depositary and transfer agent
- Making the VAT declaration
- Producing financial statements
- Third party invoices processing
- Producing specific reportings for clients and authorities
- Drive the end of year closing of accounts and front auditors
Et si c'était vous ?
- Graduated in accounting with a good knowledge of LuxGaap/ or FRGaap, IFRS deemed as a plus
- Fluent in English and French
- With a first experience of 3 years as an accountant in the fund industry in a similar role
- Duration: 1 year to start
- Location: GD of Luxembourg, city center
- Position non submitted to MIF II
