Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting of Europe-based companies owning assets as well as funds in foreign countries
- Preparation of the financial statements for various standalone entities
- Prepare asset valuation for impairment purposes (with the support of a consultant).
- Act as the contact person for the external auditor
- Manage accounting-wise liquidations, mergers, restructuring, etc.
- Supervise/approve the payment instructions.
- Provide support for consolidation purposes.
- Liaise closely with tax and legal teams to assess accounting impact of various transactions.
- Prepare portfolio calculations, reviews and bookings.
- Review of annual /quarterly/monthly VAT declarations.
- Degree in accounting or finance completed with a successful experience in financial accounting of minimum 7 years
- Knowledge of Lux GAAP
- Curious, rigorous, team player
