**Reports to External Communications Manager**
We're on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated communications professional to drive the Group's digital communications.
This role will suit a communications professional with experience in digital marketing or external communications and the proven ability to manage and engage stakeholders at all levels of the business. You'll be joining a new but growing Communications team at an exciting time in Aztec's journey, and have the opportunity to shape the digital aspects of our communications function.
Reporting to the External Communications Manager, the role will occasionally support a variety of external communications campaigns where required.
**Key responsibilities**:
Digital communications
- Work with the Communications team and key stakeholders across the business to define objectives and create digital communication campaigns which reinforce our bright alternative brand
- Work with the External Communications Manager to drive the creation of a digital strategy, covering all digital channels and defining clear metrics to report on performance
- Own all of our social media channels, editing content from various teams around the business to ensure quality and staying on top of industry trends to advise others on best practice
- Support on the delivery of an employer brand communications strategy and related campaigns
- Prepare draft communications for a variety of digital channels
- Identify and implement new channels of communication where needed
- Monitor and maintain a digital communications calendar, drafting content accordingly
- Work closely with the social committees in each location to ensure the effective communication of social activities on digital channels
- Support the delivery of key external communications initiatives
Other responsibilities
- Provide reporting and data analysis on digital communications initiatives to the communications, marketing and senior management teams
- Manage and maintain Aztec's online profiles across industry memberships/organisations/directories to ensure they are accurate and up to date
- Work closely with external designers, digital agencies and our in-house design team
- Support with budget management
**Skills, knowledge and expertise**:
- Proven relevant digital communications and social media management experience
- An undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing or CIM Certificate / Diploma would be preferable
- Highly organised and deadline-driven, whilst remaining flexible to changing demands
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to create persuasive communications
- Superb verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- The ability to quickly establish productive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders in multiple jurisdictions
- A 'can do' attitude, excellent people skills, team orientated, professional and self-motivated
- Experience of working within a creative agency or marketing function with a communications focus
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office

You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as close working relationships between our colleagues and clients are at the heart of what we do.
