Junior Funds Associate

Dentons Luxembourg is currently looking to strengthen their Investment Funds practice with the appointment of a Junior Associate. Based in our Luxembourg office you will be part of our Investment Funds practice working on different investment fund and regulatory related matters. Due to the polycentric character of the firm, you will get the opportunity to work closely with colleagues form other offices and with clients located around the world.

The Luxembourg team provides a full range of legal services, with a particular focus on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, tax, investment funds, banking and finance, structured finance, real estate, and restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy.

About the Role

As a member of the Investment Funds practice, you will be accountable for:

- Providing written advice on general fund and regulatory inquiries,
- Providing fund and regulatory advice to a large portfolio of international and local clients, - Collaborating with the team in the implementation of tax-efficient fund structures and

strategies,
- Contributing actively to drafting, reviewing and negotiating documentation
- Liaising with our foreign offices, Luxembourg authorities and clients,
- Actively researching new topics in the expanding funds network at an International,

European and local level,
- Developing our practice and being involved in knowledge sharing.

About You
- You have gained up to 2 years’ experience (including internships) in the Funds and/or

regulatory teams in a reputable Luxembourg law firm,
- You have ideally knowledge of the Private Equity industry,
- You have ideally knowledge in the key attributes of alternative investment funds and the

regulatory aspects thereof,
- You hold a master’s degree in law,
- You are ideally admitted to the Luxembourg Bar,
- You are fluent in English and French - any other language (notably German) is an asset, - You are able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure,
- You have excellent written communication and drafting skills,
- You are flexible with a positive and enthusiastic attitude,
- You are solution-oriented, pro-active and a team player.
