To sustain the company´s growth, we are currently looking for a Junior Accountant (M/F/x) for a permanent contract in order to.
Our client is an industrial company, present in 7 countries and having around 240 stores in Europe. In the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, they are located in Windhof.
In your role of Junior Accountant, you will work within a finance team of 8 people. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
- Create invoices and maintain customer records according to company practices for ancillary income
- Provide internal support towards the sales organization
- Prepare general ledger operations and journal entries
- Liaise with external service providers to ensure the smooth execution of you daily duties (e.g. banks, collection agencies, payment service providers)
- Assist in the preparation of the reconciliation files (e.g. cash in transit, suspense accounts)
- Support with monthly closings (e.g. accruals, prepaid expenses)
- Assist with accounts payable (e.g. coding of invoices, review AP balances)
- Accompany with the preparation of the internal and external audit process
- Organize and follow up the archives of the accounting department
