**We are seeking a Head of Business Support**
Business Services are the backbones of KPMG, crucial to setting our business on the path to success. Our Business Services staff connect the dots, converging the right people and the right technologies to ensure an exemplary, effective and signature client experience.
**What you will be working on**
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and committed Head of Business Support to work in a very fast paced and international environment and join our Business Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to oversee the important pillars such as the optimization of our process, the onboarding, the development, the performance and the retention of our talents, As a key member of our Business Services team, you will be contributing to the design of the Business Support key deliveries.
This role requires a unique blend of human resources expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the specific needs and nuances of the management assistant profession which can be detailed on different pillars but not only:
**Operations process optimization**
- Lead the firm strategic roadmap and drive the innovation agenda within the business support
- Implement change and innovation in line with the business needs and business support priorities.
- Assess the need of new developments/procedures in the business support.
- Set the priorities and identify the key resources
- Meet on a regular basis with the CFOO to report on current actions and adjust the strategy if any.
- Close contact with the Leadership regarding transversal projects/processes in line with business support agenda
- Monitor and control the budget/resources in accordance with the firm context, the firm policies and procedures
**Talent Acquisition & Onboarding**:
- Liaise and collaborate with the Recruitment Team to deploy a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract skilled and qualified talents
- Collaborate with the Leadership to understand the staffing needs (and goals, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process)
**Employee Development**:
- Design and implement training and development programs tailored to enhance the skills and capabilities of the assistant audience
- Work closely with department Heads of Functions/Partners to identify skill gaps and implement solutions for ongoing professional development.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the Personal/ Engagement assistants
People Performance Management:
- Support the performance management process, providing guidance to management assistants and leaders on goal setting, feedback, and professional development.
- Collaborate with managers to address performance issues and implement improvement plans when necessary
- Collaborate with the Talent Business Partner in providing guidance on career development
- Upskill our assistants to deliver quality deliverables to our external and internal clients
- Act as a Performance Manager for the different Management Team Leaders and Assistants
- Conduct with the Leadership sensitive discussions on various matters
**Retention Strategies**
- Develop and implement retention initiatives to ensure high-performing Management Assistants are engaged
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with the Leadership to create a positive and supportive work environment
**What we look for**
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A proven experience of minimum 10 years as a Head of Business Support or similar role with a focus on business & operations transformation with a minimum of 3 years in a management role
- Strong understanding and requirements of the Business support function
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Knowledge of Luxembourg employment laws and regulations
- Project Management/ Change Management certifications could be considered as an asset
