**Responsibilities**
- Provide Legal assistance and advice to any question or issue (on financial laws, companies laws, civil law, UCIT, etc.) as well as assistance on queries from branches.
- Intervention in claims and litigation, as well as the preparation of communication with Authorities.
- Review, draft and negotiate all kind of legal agreement entered by the bank and its branches (Greece and Portugal).
- Interest on GDPR.

**Main Tasks**
- Assisting the Head of legal in his duties.
- Providing Legal assistance and advice to any question or issue (on financial laws, corporate laws, civil law, UCIT, etc.) as well as assistance on demand to branches queries.
- Managing the GDPR compliance of the Bank, acting as privacy officer.
- Drafting of legal opinions relating to the business of the company.
- Involvement in litigation files (active and passive lawsuits, risk of litigation cases) in which the bank is involved and ensure cooperation with external lawyers and reporting to the Group.
- Centralizing, handling and following-up of client complaints.
- Centralizing, handling and following-up civil seizures (unblocking process “overrides” on a daily basis).
- Managing client related inheritance matters (unblocking “overrides” on a daily basis), as well as all matters related to bankruptcy proceedings.
- Ensuring compliance of internal procedures with local legal requirements.
- Setting up and keeping updated a legal bibliography, corporate document as well as all agreements of the Bank (GTC and related comments, discretionary and advisory mandates, depositary and paying agent agreements in relation to funds activity, pledges etc.).
- Involvement in credit operations; reviewing and drafting clauses.
- Liaise with involved third parties (lawyers, notaries, external experts, financial and tax authorities, etc.).

**Professional **Competencies**
- At least 5 years of experience (former attorney at the bar is an asset).
- Fluent in English and French.
- Master’s degree in law.
- In depth knowledge of financial instruments.
- Good knowledge of GDPR
- Knowledge of Fund business is an asset.
- Good understanding of the Finance Business.
