DB Re S.A. in Luxembourg belongs to Deutsche Bank Group and, with a small, competent team, carries out reinsurance tasks worldwide in the insurance lines relevant to banks for the branches and group companies of the Deutsche Bank Group. It is part of Chief Financial Office / Corporate Insurance / Deukona. Our function sees itself as part of risk management at Deutsche Bank.

In cooperation with Privat Bank, DB Re S.A. has taken on a new business area that needs to be integrated and operated.

This is why we are looking for a senior finance employee (M/F/d) with special expertise in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for a company. Hand in hand with a well-rehearsed small team, you ensure the successful preparation, review and reconciliation of these financial statements according to Lux GAAP and IFRS for the consolidated financial statements.

Prior knowledge of insurance is desirable, but not mandatory. Familiarization with these topics, as far as they are relevant for the finance area, is expected.

**Your Tasks**:

- Integration and takeover of the finance activities in connection with the new area PPI (credit default insurance), related to the accounting, control and reporting.
- Coordination of the cooperation with DB AG Frankfurt, DB Luxembourg and an external captive manager in Luxembourg
- Participation in and preparation of claims and underwriting counsels
- Review of documentation received from insurers regarding payments received or to be made
- Preparation and participation in company meetings

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Your basis is a successful degree in business administration or a similar degree from a recognized college or university
- Alternatively, several years of professional experience in the field of finance, in particular the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for small corporations that are included in consolidated financial statements (from the invoice to the final balance sheet)
- Fluency in English
- As a committed communication talent, you convince us with the right mix of customer orientation and an independent, precise working style
