Job Description Summary: The Checkout (XO) Finance Manager will develop tools & financial models to support the planning and forecasting processes for Checkout (Networking) Business Unit especially for EU/AU regions. This position will also involve working with Business Unit. Sales, wider FP&A team to produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and reviewing monthly forecasts and annual budget. It will also require collaboration with different stakeholders to gather inputs, summarize insights and produce executive level presentations. Key focus will be to drive optimal decision making through financial modelling and quantitative analysis

**Job Description**:
The Checkout (XO) Finance Manager will develop tools & financial models to support the planning and forecasting processes for Checkout (Networking) Business Unit especially for EU/AU regions. This position will also involve working with Business Unit. Sales, wider FP&A team to produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and reviewing monthly forecasts and annual budget. - Partner closely with BU to develop a deep understanding of PayPal’s Checkout business across different PayPal’s regions & segments and drafting CEO & CFO Board presentations.
- Develop & maintain tools & financial models to support the planning & forecasting processes of Checkout Business Unit
- Provide detailed strategic insight into the dynamics of the differing parts of the business and deep dives to BU Sales Leadership
- Drive optimal decision making through insightful models and analytical tools & use of extensive financial and quantitative analysis, modelling, including revenue variance analyses.
- Drive FP&A analytics tools and process strategies, partnering with Product, Sales and global FP&A and technology teams

**Experience required**:

- Experience in financial planning, modelling, forecasting/budgeting.
- Demonstrated experience in building and challenging financial models.

- Advanced financial, analytical and modelling skills
- Strong communication skills and experience distilling and presenting complex financial analyses into action-oriented recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills: able to work across organization & geographies and influence peers and more senior colleagues.
- High energy and a true desire to understand the drivers of the business.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional / multicultural environment while juggling multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to effectively manage projects/ results oriented.

**Knowledge required**:

- Strong Excel and Power Point skills. Experience with database products (e.g. Essbase)
- Some proficiency in SQL/Python/VBA would be an advantage
