An exciting opportunity to support a variety of operational activities across our growing AIFM business.
Working closely with our managers and directors, you will develop a broad understanding of the AIFM regulations and operational requirements.
This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure and develop knowledge in a wide range of private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure funds.
From the outset, you will be an essential point of contact for our clients, third parties, as well as your fellow team members and other departments within the organization.
Over time, it is expected that you would then specialise in a particular AIFM area that you are passionate about - e.g. portfolio management, marketing, compliance or risk management.
The AIFM Administrator should already have a working knowledge of the fund services and private markets sectors.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support a variety of AIFM operations, including marketing notifications, name screening, coordination of regulatory filings and audit reviews, investment due diligence, and assistance with oversight of delegates
- Assist with all aspects of company secretarial matters, including the preparation of agendas, collation and distribution of board packs, maintain action points list updated and drafting minutes
- Actively participate in client and delegate on-boarding projects and activities
- Handling day-to-day AIFM operations and responding to clients' requests
- Being a point of contact for clients and third parties
- Assist with the preparation and execution of legal documents
- Assist with the preparation of reports for AIFM and third parties, as required
**Skills, knowledge, expertise**:
- University degree preferably in Law, Finance or Business Administration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (any another language will be considered as an asset)
- Knowledge of Luxembourg fund regulations and corporate law would be considered as a strong advantage
- Minimum 18 months previous experience within the fund industry, ideally within the Alternative Investment Funds (Private Equity, Real Assets or Private Credit funds)
- Organisational skills, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
- High level of integrity and dependability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Advanced computer literacy skills are essential
- Good interpersonal skills
We will provide both inhouse training, for relevant technical knowledge, as well as training for professional qualifications to enhance your professional development. You will need to be a fast learner, quickly learn new systems.
