We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join the People Experience and Technology (PXT) Ops International Central and Support Functions (ICSF) as a HR Regional Partner.
The ability to listen to the voice of the customer and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the employee experience. Collaborate with people managers and PXT HR specialists across the various EU PXT businesses. The HR Regional Partner role is an effective training ground for those that would like to flex into an HR Business Partner role, or go deeper into HR programs and processes. This role provides the breadth and depth of HR understanding at Amazon and can be a significant conduit into either path.
Key job responsibilities
- Identify trends and emerging needs and address them with innovative people programs, tools and processes.
- Act as local HR for all Luxembourg based Operations employees across business lines providing support and advice on local practices and guidelines
- Analyze data and trends on ER and performance management, in order to provide input to the business strategy to HRBPs, preventing the recurrence of known issues.
- Collaborate closely with peers from other PXT businesses as well as with the PXT Shared Service to align and address emerging needs.
- Enable the success of new and experienced managers by leveraging, delivering and improving existing training contents and web pages, and collaborating with the EU PXT Program.
- Support EU PXT ICSF team with employee relations (ER) management, including disciplinary and performance improvement for issues not supported by the central Employee Relations team.
- Conduct investigations and manage ER cases, in coordination with the Employee Relations and with the Legal departments.
- Manage the exit process, including conducting ad-hoc exit interviews
- Provide support and guidance to HRBPs and managers on change initiatives.
- Support data requests for reporting or business needs.
- Act as point of contact and program manager for people tools, processes, programs or projects.
- Support manager education initiatives to further drive collective education and manager effectiveness.
- Additional fluent European languages
- Knowledge of employment law in at least two European countries
