**VAT Manager**

**Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)**

**Some of the things you’ll be doing**
- Prepare and review periodical and annual VAT returns
- Review work prepared by accounting colleague
- Train and transfer knowledge to the accountant and legal teams
- Maintain VAT records and follow up on all VAT compliance obligations for a portfolio of companies (securitizations vehicle, real estate funds, Alternative investment, operational entities)
- Be point of contact with client, VAT Authorities and other stakeholders (tax advisor, foreign tax provider, lawyers, etc.) for VAT related queries. Evaluate and make risk assessment on VAT issues
**What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?**
- University degree in Finance/Economics/Tax Law or equivalent
- Experience in the VAT compliance field and on VAT exemptions on financial transactions
- Fluent in English written and spoken. Any additional language is considered an advantage, especially French/German
- Previous management experience, leadership skills and strong communication
- Are accurate, flexible, hands-on and deliver their best work when facing a tight deadline
- Commercial spirit and pro-active attitude
- Proficient with MS Office, especially in Excel
- Good analytical and organizational skills Team-player, can do and pro-active attitude
