**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Indirect Taxes team as a VAT Compliance Assistant Manager.
- This role involves understanding, applying, and monitoring VAT returns and refunds, their implications, opportunities, and optimization.
- You will draft client deliverables detailing interpretations of domestic and international laws, business and technical findings, and proposing recommendations/solutions.
- Liaising with clients and VAT Authorities is essential in gaining knowledge on local tax organizational structures, responsibilities, rights, and obligations.
- Developing more junior employees by training, coaching, and supervising their work is a key part of this role.
- You will participate in client meetings, training, and internal workshops, building strong relationships with clients and our worldwide network.
Key Responsibilities:
- VAT return and refund monitoring, analysis, and optimization
- Client deliverable drafting and reporting
- Liaising with clients and VAT Authorities
- Employee development and training
- Participation in client meetings and internal workshops
