To reinforce the Finance and Accounting department (job creation), we are currently looking for a Fund Accountant (M/F/X). A part-time contract is possible.
Our client is a leading, highly diversified global investment management firm.
The Fund Accountant will directly report to the Finance Manager and to the CFO. This person will be based in Luxembourg, Gare. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing structure within a young and a dynamic team (around 20 people).
Assist the CFO in the funds valuation (reconciliation, calculations, finalizations, reporting)
Produce various checking reports
Understand, control and review the accounting records for the Funds
Perform bookkeeping entries for the Funds
Participate to the different projects of the department to improve the understanding and the reconciliation of different items in the funds
Prepare cash reconciliation and projections
Ensure back-up in case of absence of colleagues (process invoices and expense reports, prepare payment advice)
**For this position, your qualifications are**:
A qualified degree in Accounting/Business/Finance
A proven experience in financial/accounting sector
Prior experience in fund accounting in alternative funds or private equity structures
Some knowledge in audit
Good working knowledge of Excel including Macros (VBA is a plus)
Fluent in English, French will be considered a plus
Excellent organization and time management
Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
Strong technical and analytical skills
Ability to stay on track even when dealing with tight deadlines
Team spirit
