Our client is looking to strengthen the team in charge of Fund Administration and we are currently recruiting an Experience Fund Accountant (M/F/X). The Fund Accountant will work closely with the fund accounting and controlling team and under the direct supervision of the Head of Fund Controlling and Head of Fund Administration.
Our client is a leading PE firm focusing on Infrastructure investment (energy, transportation, digital etc.) and manage 30 Billion AUM. The company has a global presence, offices in various location and employees +/- 200 people worldwide. In the context of a strong development of its business and significant growth.
**Responsibilities**:
Maintaining accurate accounting records including cashbook entries and all quarter end journals
Reconciliation of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, including intercompany accounts and bank reconciliation
Computation of the net asset value on a quarterly basis
Preparation of drawdown and distribution notices
Assisting in the preparation of the semi-annual financial report and annual financial statements
Assisting with quarterly investor reporting preparation
Preparing year-end files and liaising with auditors
Query resolution with custodian bank or similar
Preparing answers to various queries from investors
Assist in the preparation of process documentations
Support ad-hoc queries and projects
Required Experience and Skills
Accounting qualification and/or educated to degree level in a finance related discipline
Minimum of 2 years' experience within the fund industry (private equity sector would be a plus)
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of eFront and Power BI
Luxembourg GAAP / IFRS would be a plus
Ability to build and develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders as well as previous experience working with auditors
Good attention to detail and high-level quality standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
English (oral and writing), French language skills would be a plus
Curious, willing to learn, well organized, autonomous, solution driven and proactive
You work with flexibility and are a strong team player
