Job Title: Fund Controller

Our client is a market-leading Real Estate asset manager, committed to carbon neutrality by 2028. With €14 billion of assets under management, already recognised as the leading real estate investor and innovator in the Nordics, they want to grow their office in Luxembourg to support their funds.

This role will sit in Luxembourg, will work directly for the General Partners, reporting into the Luxembourg Management. The Fund Controller will work as part of a team to:

- Manage the wider real estate debt funds.
- Ensure the Funds operate in an efficient and controlled manner to maximize Investor return.
- Ensure compliance with Fund documents.
- Wider regulation and industry best practices.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and review the annual preparation of the Fund and Holding company accounts.
- Co-ordinate various internal reporting and external filings and payments.
- Manage the service provider delivery timetable, perform KPI reviews and report findings.
- Manage the audit process
- Manage external advisors (banks, lawyers, tax advisor etc).
- Oversee and review the eCDF filing process for annual reports.

**Your profile**:
**Fluent in English, German is highly desirable.**
- Knowledge and understanding of IFRS, Luxembourg accounting, tax and corporate governance.
- Ability to assist the Third Party AIFM with any questions and processes.
- Knowledge of relevant Luxembourg legislation such as changes to AML/KYC and tax updates.
- Have some knowledge/experience around VAT recharges
- Provide main point of liaison for service providers.
- Comply with all relevant policies and procedures applicable to the role and ensures team members do the same.
- Be keen to learn in a dynamic environment
- Be partially or fully ACCA qualified or equivalent qualification
