**Job Description**:
We are pleased to be partnering with a prestigious investment manager in the search for a Senior Fund Controller for their Luxembourg Office.
The position offers a broad challenging role with opportunities to develop your skills and gain exposure to various areas of the business. You would join a stable environment, a supportive culture with friendly colleagues whom work well as a team.
They have a good work/life balance with the opportunity of a hybrid working week.
Responsibilities include:
- Take responsibility for managing the financials for their UCITS fund range, including funds domiciled in various locations, specifically monitoring audit and reporting functions
- Work in a review and oversight function: reviewing financial statements, audit workings/findings and driving the working relationship with service providers
- Lead the oversight of auditors and service providers, developing strong, productive working partnerships
- Coordinate the funds’ annual regulatory audits
- Act in a senior capacity relating to IFRS and Lux GAAP queries, whilst reviewing financial statements
- Review and improve processes and procedures, suggest efficiency changes and take the initiative
- Liaison with the Board of Directors and Exec Committee - presenting financial statements
- Opportunities are there to get involved in a corporate governance function relating to the responsibilities of the Management Company
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar
- 8+ years of financial focused experience working in investment funds - Big4 experience preferred
- Good experience in reviewing financial statements is important with good knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS
- Solid practical experience of dealing with Luxembourg fund ranges
- Good UCITS funds experience is a big plus
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting and financial reporting
- International fund experience welcome - Irish funds, Cayman
