ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products is looking for the Head of Central Performance Steering to join our Finance team. The role is reporting directly to the Head of Performance Steering and Financial Planning & Analysis within Flat Finance. His/her key responsibilites include:
**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the performance management controlling team to achieve cost efficiency goals.
- Manage segment team of controllers’ experts in Fixed costs, Productivity, and Industrial cost processes.
- Coordinate the Cluster performance management reviews with Clusters Head of PS and CTO team
- Supervise the Cost Performance of Flat Europe:

- Deliver monthly MPR and quarterly BAR document on cost side.
- Production cost:

- Monitor and control cost performance with managerial cost decomposition analyses.
- Ensure HRC forecasting accuracy (esp. regarding Raw Material versus AMS, Energy balance) and reconcile with Ebitda.
- Management gains performance follow up
- link with operational KPIs.
- Coordination with COO / Purchasing controlling and link with Primary optimization value plan & Purchasing gains.
- Fixed costs controlling including Crisis management, HR & Transversal AME Cost ;
- Fixed cost and productivity reports, supporting segment and group initiatives to define Fixed cost and productivity targets and benchmarks.
- Support CFO and management throughout financial management cycles and strategic files.
- Finance business Partner towards CTO and Supply chain on production programs support and plants benchmarking valorization.
- Partnering with management committee to develop the footprint strategy and Decarbonization program.Responsible of strategic projects to improve competitiveness (Productivity plans and workforce planning, energy, decarbonization, benchmarking & cost guidance).

**Interfaces**:

- Head of PS & FP&A in clusters
- Cluster CEO and Finance MC.
- CTO support transversal team
- BCoE for digitalization and closing processes
- EPO (European Procurement Organisation)
- GAPM (Group Accounting & Performance Management)

**Accountability metrics/ Key Performance indicators**:

- Forecast accuracy
- Quality on alerts, risk and opportunities
- Contribution to site improvement plans.
- Benchmark and optimization studies

**Requirements**:

- 10-15 years of experience in finance especially in financial and/or industrial controlling.
- Steel industry knowledge.
