We look for researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to contribute to our projects in areas such as: Network Security, Information Assurance, Model-driven Security, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Satellite Systems, Vehicular Networks, and ICT Services & Applications.
**Your role**:
We offer a dynamic postdoctoral research position who will join the TruX Research Group headed by Prof. Dr. Tegawendé F. Bissyandé within a research project focused on leveraging program analysis to design and advance methods and tools in software security and cyber defense in the African ecosystem. This project integrates advanced program analysis techniques with software security to develop scalable and reliable methodologies to enhance cybersecurity and cyber defense.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in cyber security and cyber defence
- Develop and implement program analysis algorithms dedicated to improve the security of software and systems
- Contribute to national and international research collaborations
- Prepare project deliverables and disseminate results through high-quality scientific publications
- Present findings at renowned international conferences and workshops
- Guide and mentor PhD, MSc, and BSc students working on related topics
- Support the organization of relevant demonstrations and workshops
- Assist in drafting research proposals for securing funding
**Your profile**:
We seek a motivated, independent researcher with strong security skills and a passion for interdisciplinary work.
- Expertise in program analysis, software security, and cyber defense techniques
- Knowledge of software vulnerability detection, mitigation strategies, and security tool development
- Familiarity with advanced programming paradigms and software verification methods is a plus
- Proficiency in a major programming language (Python, Java, or C++ is a plus)
- Experience in research supervision
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
- A proven publication record in relevant international conferences and journals
- Teamworking skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary research environment
